Pricing & Terms of Service
Is there any contract for the service?
Yes. While signing up you will have to agree to our Terms of Service. These terms of service also include our Privacy Policy and Data Protection Addendum.
Is there a minimum time commitment?
Our standard services you can cancel at any time by the end of the month with a 30 Days notice. If you cancel before going live, we will invoice a one-time EUR 600 fee for the setup. If you have an enterprise solution the minimum commitment is 24 months.
How does billing work for the service?
You will receive a monthly email with your invoice including bank transfer information or credit card payment links.
Where can I see my monthly cost?
Once you signed up, you will receive your account login details. In your Account, you will have access to your monthly variable cost based on usage.
Can I pay via Credit Card?
Yes. Our invoices allow Stripe Payments via Credit Card. The offered payment methods will vary based on your location.
What is the Invoice currency?
Unless otherwise indicated, all amounts referred to are in Swiss Francs (CHF) or Euros (EUR). All amounts denominated in other currencies including Euro shall be converted in the CHF equivalent amount in accordance with the Exchange Rate on the date of invoicing. “Exchange Rate” means, in relation to any amount of currency to be converted into CHF, the CHF exchange rate as published in SIX Swiss Exchange Currency Converter on the relevant date of calculation.
Technical & Integration
Can I integrate with any website provider?
Yes. And the integration will not affect your website speed as our snippets are running in an iFrame.
What is the mechanics behind Skin Match Technology’s product recommendations?
It is driven by our proprietary algorithm and the product settings in our database. You can access your brand’s product settings via your Brand Account.
Can I make changes once live?
Yes. You get access to the setup through your account and can add new products, make design changes or any other changes you would like.
User Data & Data Protection
Will the consumer data that is collected through the quiz be available to us?
Our standard solutions come with aggregated data about your personas and their types in Insights. If you would like to collect email addresses and get detailed user data exports you can add this to your current setup at a 15% surcharge on your monthly license price.
What data protection law applies to Skin Match Technology Services?
Our Privacy Policy includes outlined measures to protect your and your user’s privacy rights in accordance with the GDPR (EU General Data Protection Regulation), CSA Code of Conduct for GDPR Compliance as well as the laws of Switzerland (together “Applicable Laws”) where Skin Match Technology Switzerland AG (the Company) is incorporated.
What user data does Skin Match Technology get access to?
As for the standard quiz we only track anonymous, aggregated data for the algorithm. If you would like to collect user data, such as Emails you have two options:
1) You build the data collection yourself and add it to the quiz process via PostMessage data collection. Here is a Developer on your end needed who will integrate it. This allows you to be the data controller and we will never have access to any personal user data.
2) We build the data collection for you, which means we will be the data controller and the user needs to opt-in that we are able to share the data with you for marketing purposes. You can add this to your current setup at a 15% surcharge on your monthly license price.
